I was 5 years old when my dad brought home my first computer. I stayed on it around the clock. I was so enamored. I became the go-to computer girl at my daycare (haha), helping the owners handle and fix all of their computer needs. My family & peers still come to me with their career & technical questions and I love helping. I'm passionate about my line of work!
I enjoy solving business problems with technical solutions.
I have over 12 years of experience launching companies, building products and leading teams.
I’ve seen a lot! Over the years, I’ve been CTO, Principal Software Engineer and Engineering Manager of various companies in: Artificial Intelligence, Health Tech, SaaS, B2B, Consumer, Microsoft, App Security, Marketplace, Energy/Oil & Gas.
I’ve been a CTO 3 times and a founder twice (w/2 successful exits). My startup, GitLinks, was acquired by a multi-billion dollar enterprise.
I’m a servant leader who leads with empathy.
As CTO and co-founder of GitLinks I led our acquisition. GitLinks was a B2B SaaS product that automated application security for open source software.
I have business acumen and simple, clear communication. I deliver value, really quickly. I run both product and engineering end-to-end.
And I’ve moved a lot, my goodness. At one point I'd lived in 5 different states within 5 years. New York → New Jersey → Pennsylvania → Texas → California → (finally settled in my hometown) Houston, TX.
Pickleball is my thing for fun & cardio. I hit about 100-150 balls. Having to pick them all up is the best part 🙃

I stay committed to the Word of God. The Bible is a very specific set of laws, rules and principals that I follow. (Not to get too engineery) but the more I read, the more I see that the Bible has a lot of “if then” conditional type statements where God gives us specific instructions so that we can get His intended results in life. Such a freeing message.
Highlights:
- I've worked on AI/Data Science & NLP, MLOps, Architecture, User Interviews, and R&D.
- I love designing systems (especially greenfield).
- I have a master’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University via Cornell Tech and a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
- Simplification — In addition to knowing what to build, as an experienced CTO, I can also tell you what NOT to build. Which will save you lots of money & wasted time.
- I bootstrapped my very first startup so I know what that's like.
- Engineering ♥ Product — You can't have successful Engineering without great Product strategy. I've run both engineering and product pipeline end-to-end. I learned product management via my real-world hands-on experience at 3 companies. I also studied PM, formally, in courses at grad school.
- Robust documentation — After my experience working with the FDA to meet their high standards I've developed a robust, step-by-step process for engineering documentation/diagrams that fits within your dev process. This makes the hand-over process very smooth.
